Privacy Policy

• Account details — your email address and, optionally, your name, when you create an account.
• Authentication data — a securely hashed password (we never store the plaintext) and/or passkey public keys. Passkeys are stored as public keys only; the private key never leaves your device.
• Newsletter & waitlist — your email address if you subscribe to updates or join the subscription waitlist.
• Usage data — anonymous, aggregate article view counts (no profile is built about you), and standard server/CDN logs (e.g. IP address, browser type) retained briefly for security and reliability.
• Cookies — see “Cookies” below.

• To create and secure your account and keep you signed in.
• To send the emails you ask for (welcome, newsletter, subscription updates, password resets).
• To operate, maintain and improve the site and protect it from abuse.
• To comply with our legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not run third‑party advertising trackers.

We use a small number of strictly necessary and functional cookies:

• a secure, httpOnly session cookie to keep you logged in;
• a theme preference (light/dark);
• short‑lived cookies used only during sign‑in/passkey flows.

We do not use advertising or cross‑site tracking cookies. If we enable privacy‑friendly analytics, it is cookieless and aggregate.

The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Account, email and view data are stored in Cloudflare’s storage (KV and D1) in‑region where possible. Market data is fetched from third‑party providers (e.g. Yahoo Finance, CoinGecko, the ECB/Frankfurter) — these requests are made by our servers and do not include your personal information. We may use trusted processors (e.g. an email delivery provider) solely to provide the service.

You can, at any time:

• access or update your details from your dashboard;
• remove a passkey, change your password, or delete your account (which erases your personal data) from the dashboard;
• unsubscribe from any email via its unsubscribe link;
• request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data by emailing us.

The service is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
